This policy explains how personal information is collected and used by the appointment scheduling service operated by Marcos Lacayo in Austin, Texas (the “Service”). The Service answers phone calls and messages for a medical clinic, schedules appointments, and sends appointment confirmations.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service or message delivery, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade mobile phone numbers or SMS consent to anyone, under any circumstances. Phone numbers collected for appointment messaging are used solely to send that patient messages about their own appointment.

Consent is collected verbally during a phone call, or in writing during a WhatsApp conversation, at the time you request an appointment. Before your number is stored you are told that message and data rates may apply, that message frequency varies, and that you can reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. Your number is stored only after you agree. Consent is never pre-checked, never bundled with anything else, and is never required in order to book an appointment, use the service, or receive care. On the web form the consent box is optional and the form can be submitted without it.
We use the following subcontractors strictly to deliver the Service. They process information only on our instructions and may not use it for their own marketing:

Appointment records are retained in the scheduling calendar for as long as needed to provide care and meet recordkeeping obligations. Conversation history is held temporarily and discarded within a few hours. You may request deletion at any time.

Access to appointment information is limited to the operator of the Service and the clinic staff who need it to provide care. Information is transmitted over encrypted connections.
The Service is not directed at children. Appointments for minors are scheduled by a parent or guardian, who provides the contact information.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new revision date.
